In today’s world, we must encourage our neighbors, friends, and fellow churchgoers to vote their values. Now, more than ever, the values we hold dear—family, life, and freedom—are under constant attack. But we have a powerful tool in our hands: the vote.
This election season, I decided to take action within my own church, setting up a simple booth to remind and encourage others to stand up for what we believe in. It’s easy, and you can do it too!
At my home church, I set up a “Vote Your Values” table. We filled it with materials like posters, yard signs, and fliers that encouraged people to vote for candidates and laws that protect family values, defend life, and preserve freedom. Here’s the best part—I didn’t promote any specific candidates. Instead, I highlighted the principles that matter most, urging others to support leaders and policies that align with our faith and values.
Setting up this table was not only simple, but it was also impactful. People appreciated having a clear, positive reminder to vote according to their beliefs.
Imagine the ripple effect we can create if more churches, families, and friends encourage one another to vote based on values—not just politics. We have the chance to shape our communities, states, and nation by choosing leaders who will uphold the principles we cherish.
If you’re unsure about where to start, don’t worry! You can use the PDF materials I’ve created or adapt them to fit your local needs. I designed these materials myself, but I’m sharing them with you today so you can bring this idea to your own community. I’ve attached PDFs of the posters, yard signs, and fliers that you can print and use at your church, local gathering, or even outside your home.
The most important thing is to remind others of their responsibility to use their vote to protect our core values.
We don’t have to be silent—we can make our voices heard by voting for family, life, and freedom. Let’s take this simple but effective action in our churches and communities!
