Marines have an old motto: “First to Fight.” In Iraq, we’d use special knocks to identify friend from foe when we were surrounded by insurgents. The comfort was knowing your friends were with you, that you had each other’s back.

In Iraq, I had my Marines. In this campaign, I have you. I’m not afraid of a hard fight, and I’ll do it on my own if I have to. But I’m not afraid to ask for help when I need it.

I debate Kari Lake in 48 hours — but that’s not all. It’s also the day the people of Arizona start heading out to the polls. Early voting starts, mail-in ballots get sent out, and our debate airs across the state.
