Hey there — I want to make sure that you saw our email about what Senate Republicans have been doing.

They want to ignore scientists' recommendations for safely reopening our economy, and they’ve said they don’t care if WA seniors die as a result.

This is unacceptable. Donate immediately and help us get the them out of office in November >> [[link removed]]

Thank you,
Adam

Subject: reopening too quickly [link removed] [[link removed]]
FIRST: Senate Republicans tweeted “Who is the COVID virus killing in WA state? 53% are 80 and older."

NEXT: They were shamed into deleting their tweet.

THEN: They tweeted again, this time saying we should base WA’s shutdown on science, and noted that “91% of the people killed in WA state are 60 or above.”

These at risk people are just that, people. They are our parents, grandparents, teachers, bus drivers, grocery store clerks, nurses, and doctors. They are our neighbors. They are fellow Washingtonians.

This kind of callous, disregard for human life has no place in our State Legislature. We need bold Democrats, like our members, in leadership who will fight for ALL Washingtonians. Rush a grassroots donation of $8 or more right now and ensure we have the resources to win big in November→ [[link removed]]

As if these heartless tweets were not enough, WA Senate Republicans also told The Columbian it’s “not necessarily a bad thing” for more people to be exposed to Coronavirus.

We are floored that they think it is “not necessarily a bad thing” that more Washingtonians are exposed to the deadliest pandemic our country has faced in generations.

They’ve also rallied at the capitol to rush reopening our state at breakneck speed — despite warnings from public health officials that it is not safe to do so.

We need leaders who believe in science and taking care of everyone in our community, not just their special interests and big donors. Rush a donation now and ensure our Democrats hold their seats and grow our majority on Election Day → [[link removed]]

Thank you for standing up for all Washingtonians.
