Voters in California are receiving their ballots this week, and I’m feeling a mix of emotions. I’m extremely proud of the work we’ve done together, but I have to level with you… I’m also really nervous at the same time.
Republicans are flooding our district with attack ads, so much so that every time I turn on the TV, I see their ads. And if I’m seeing them, then voters certainly are too. We have our response ad up and running, but this race is going to come down to a simple question: can we convince every single Democrat to mail back their ballot?
As you know, we have a massive organizing program and our volunteers are doing an incredible job reminding Democrats what’s at stake in this election. But, we only have a few weeks to get our supporters to mail back their ballots. We have to make sure volunteers have what they need to be successful. That means we still need to print more lit, purchase water bottles, and repair our vandalized signs. We can’t let up now.
