There are only a few days left to register for the October 10th debut of Accessing Democracy.

Accessing Democracy follows our own Monica Wiley as she travels the East Coast ahead of the 2024 general election, interviewing fellow voters with disabilities. She asks them about the barriers they face, from accessing the everyday conveniences that people without disabilities take as a given to the inability to receive the services they need to work and be a part of the community. This short explores how politicians have left behind one of the largest minority groups in the United States, and what disabled voters want from their next Commander in Chief. Accessing Democracy is the directorial debut of NDRN’s Senior Digital Communications Specialist, Jack Rosen. This project was done in partnership with Disability Rights New York.

We hope you can join us on October 10th at 3pm ET, where you can be among the first to see this powerful short film. After the screening we will host a Q&A panel featuring Wiley, Rosen and others.
