I’ve been a champion of environmental protection throughout my career. In 1994, I was the first prosecutor to go after sewage discharge into Lake St. Clair and hold polluters accountable for their actions. And my commitment to protecting our state’s precious natural resources has never wavered.

From Day One, fighting climate change will be a top priority if elected into Congress.

Meanwhile, my opponent – John James – voted to allow oil drilling in our glorious Great Lakes, something that should be inconceivable to any true Michigander. He’s also introduced legislation that would undo pollution standards and has spread misinformation and lies about green energy that would boost our economy.

We simply can’t afford another two years with John James Republicans at the helm in charge of Congress. The fact of the matter is this: ignoring climate change and allowing corporations and special interests to continue devastating our planet will have disastrous consequences here in Michigan and beyond.
