We are happy to announce Ali Khan, M.D. will deliver a keynote address at the ACCESS 10th Arab Health Summit! Speakers and panelists at the 10th Arab Health Summit will discuss a wide range of topics including immigrant and refugee health, creating healthy communities, mental health and substance use prevention, empowering women leaders, healthy aging and more!

The summit serves as a platform for researchers in the United States to connect with their counterparts in the Middle Eastern North African (MENA) region and elsewhere for a unique opportunity to exchange best practices and create research relationships that can build a sustainable public health infrastructure globally.

Keynote Spotlight – Dr. Ali Khan
We are excited to highlight one of our esteemed keynote speakers.

Dr. Ali Khan
Ali Khan, M.D., MPH, MBA, is the third dean of the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Public Health. He served as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for 23 years, served as the Epidemic Intelligence Service officer for the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps, and served as one of the main architects of the CDC’s public health bioterrorism preparedness program.

Dr. Khan, a Brooklyn native, earned his medical degree from Downstate Medical Center and completed a joint residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at the University of Michigan. He holds master's degrees in public health from Emory University and business administration from the University of Nebraska Omaha. He consulted extensively for organizations like NASA and the World Health Organization.
