NIJ is seeking input from grantees, criminal justice practitioners, academics, publishers, data repositories, nonprofits, and the public as we develop a plan to increase access to the publications and data resulting from NIJ-funded research.
Facilitating access to publications and data without barriers increases transparency and reproducibility. This has the potential to accelerate new discoveries and practical applications, as well as contribute to evidence-based changes in policy and practice, which is all in the public interest.
Comments on the plan are due by 5:00 p.m. ET on November 29, 2024.
