John, Remember when Vice President Harris encouraged Americans to watch a Trump rally and take in his unhinged performance?
Today, I want to extend an invitation of my own: take a closer look at Project 2025. Specifically, take a look at the Trump team’s horrifying plans for the national Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Here’s a small sample of what’s inside:
- Transform HHS into the “Department of Life.” (Seriously.) In this right-wing fantasy, abortion is illegal. Never mind what we’ve seen to be true since Roe fell: when abortion is banned, women die.
- Redefine all emergency contraception as — you guessed it — abortion.
- Finally, the Orwellian Department of Life would be empowered to track women’s pregnancies, including abortions, miscarriages, and stillbirths!
The Trump team is already accepting resumes from extremists who aim to take away our freedoms — we don’t have to invent worst-case scenarios, it’s all laid out clearly on their website.
Women cannot afford to sit on the sidelines in the final weeks of this election. Today, consider activating a weekly recurring donation until Election Day — or send a one-time contribution to support candidates who value our rights.
