Last year, Atlanta DSA joined labor unions and the Atlanta North-Georgia Labor Council to march in the Atlanta Pride Parade! It was so much fun that we're doing it again. Sign up HERE to march in the parade Sunday Oct. 13. Please aim to arrive by 11AM - our contingent will be in row H. All are welcome - invite your coworkers and union siblings! Let's show Atlanta that pride is about the people, not corporations!

Join us TODAY, Monday Oct. 7 for an art build at the AFSC Office, 711 Catherine St. SW. We'll be making props and banners for both the Halloween and pride parades. Feel free to bring your own art supplies. Pizza will be provided! RSVP here. 🍕 |

For the first time ever, Atlanta DSA will be joining community members and organizations to march in the annual Little 5 Points Halloween Parade! Sign up to march with us, and show Atlanta that socialism really ain't that spooky. We're encouraging our members to dress as "not so spooky" monsters (witches for abortion rights, vampires for taxing the rich, and zombies for universal healthcare, etc), and to please bring props, costumes, and friends.

Ever thought about organizing your workplace, but don't know where to start? Join ATL DSA's labor committee for an in-person workplace roundtable Monday October 21 at 7:30pm. Located at 711 Catherine St SW, Atlanta, GA 30310.
This roundtable will be an informal discussion on workplace organizing strategies, and what challenges people are facing in their own workplaces. Be prepared to introduce yourself, and share your experiences and advice with comrades on having workplace organizing conversations, strategies, and more! This event is open to members and non-members of all levels of experience! |
