This poll shows our lead shrinking a bit compared to a pair of recent polls that had us +6, and +4.

Being on the wrong side of a momentum swing now that voting has begun is the last thing any campaign wants. It's potentially devastating.

Not only is it bad news in its own right, but it can also attract a flood of Republican spending if they smell opportunity.
