*What broken items can be brought to this event? *
Kitsap residents are welcome to bring one or two items per event. Fixers will attempt repairs on one item at a time. If there’s time, you can join the line again with your second item. However, we may limit repairs to one item if the event is busy.
At this event, fixers will attempt to repair:
* mendable clothing and textiles (sorry, no zipper repairs at this event)
* jewelry
* small household appliances, such as lamps, vacuums, blenders, toasters, and more!
RSVP requested
Let us know what you're bringing so our fixers can prepare. This is not an appointment and is not required. All of our events are first-come, first-served.

Get ready!
After you RSVP, get your broken items ready for the event. Before visiting the Fix-it Fair, please:
* clean your item(s)
* bring any instructions or manuals
* purchase and bring your repair part, if you know what part is needed. If you don’t know, that’s okay! Fixers at the event can help you know which parts are needed. We'll have some small parts available at the event, but you’ll need to buy special parts. You may need to return to a future event to finish the repair.
What to expect at a Fix-it Fair
Repairs are first-come, first-served. Participants will check in, sign a waiver, and wait to be called to a fixer station. At the fixer station, participants will watch, learn, and help the fixer repair your item.
What can be fixed at Fix-it Fairs?
Volunteer fixers will do their best to attempt repairs, but there are no guarantees.
Each event will focus on different types of items, depending on the fixers’ skills and knowledge. We'll update our Kitsap Fix-it Fairs event webpage [ [link removed] ] with event specific information.
Do not bring items that are leaking, dangerous, contain gasoline or fuel, or have a strong odor. Do not bring bulky appliances, appliances with refrigerants, or microwaves. More restrictions may apply. Only bring items that can be safely carried by one person.
Want to volunteer?
Fix-it Fairs are community powered events. If you have mending or repairing skills that you’d like to share, join us as a fixer at future events! We’re also looking for community partners and volunteers to help run and host these events. If you’re interested in volunteering or partnering, fill out our interest form [ [link removed]? ].
