to take a moment to explain why reaching our $175,000 May fundraising goal
is so important.

Every month we set a fundraising goal and whether or not we reach it
determines how much support we’re able to offer our progressive primary
challenger candidates. Every day we’re working to:

* Train candidates on running effective campaigns;

* Pitch candidates to press to get them exposure;

* Offer grassroots fundraising support for our candidates;

* Run a national field program that mobilizes our supporters to call
voters for our candidates.

Starting the month off strong would allow us to offer more support to our
candidates with upcoming primaries.
