When asked by a reporter over the weekend whether a future Trump administration would defund Planned Parenthood, the reproductive healthcare group that provides essential healthcare to millions of women and has garnered opposition from many conservatives for its very reasonable, pro-abortion-rights positions, Vance gave away the game. Trump's #2 made disingenuous remarks about taxpayers funding late-term abortions at Planned Parenthood (they do not) and vowed that Republicans would end federal funding for the nationwide clinics, just like their Project 2025 manifesto says.
