President Trump Shares Sally Pipes' Latest Fox News Column with Millions on Facebook
Did you see the President's Facebook post?

On Monday, President Donald J. Trump shared the latest Fox News column authored by PRI President, CEO, and Thomas W. Smith Fellow in Health Care Policy Sally C. Pipes with his more than 24 million Facebook followers.

In her op-ed, Pipes issues a warning to union members:  "Be careful what you wish for you - 2020 Dems might ruin your excellent health benefits."  (Click here to read the op-ed.)

Commenting on Pipes' analysis of how the single-payer health care plans promoted by several 2020 Democratic presidential candidates would negatively impact union members, the President said:

"Union workers need to be VERY careful . . . (some presidential candidates) want to totally get rid of American's private health insurance - which would include your excellent health benefits!"

The post has received nearly 13,000 likes and nearly 4,800 comments since Monday, and has been shared nearly 4,100 times.

President Trump's acknowledgment of Pipes' latest column on single-payer underscores just how effective Pipes and PRI have been in educating Americans about the dangers of a so-called "Medicare-for-All" system.  This year alone, Pipes:

Joined Mark Levin for an in-depth discussion of single-payer health care on "Life, Liberty, and Levin" on Fox News Channel in May.  Her appearance was the #1 program in cable news the evening it aired.

Was a guest panelist on "Deep Dive" with Steve Hilton on the Fox Nation streaming service, making the case against Medicare-for-All.

Debuted a new weekly column at FoxNews.com

Made the case against government-run health care at a major forum in Washington, DC hosted by the Heritage Foundation, which was televised nationally on C-Span.

And that's only the beginning!

In January, Encounter Books will publish Pipes' latest book, False Premise, False Promise, which will make the definitive case against single-payer health care using examples from her native Canada and countries around the world to show how it would lead to massive tax hikes, lower health care quality, increased wait times, and reduced access to doctors and specialists.

The stakes have never been higher as the Democratic presidential candidates continue to aggressively pursue single-payer health care plans and the elimination of private health insurance.

Your generous support of our Center for Health Care will ensure that PRI will continue to be a leading national voice advocating for free-market health care reforms and warning the American people about the dangers of Medicare-for-All.
