Covid-19: Views from across the Pond
with Ryan Bourne, Joseph G Lehman and Dr Tom Palmer
Register here.

The Institute of Economic Affairs will be hosting a thought-provoking debate tomorrow evening, moderated by IEA Director General Mark Littlewood, on the US response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

UK traditional news coverage of how the US is handling coronavirus seems limited to the latest speech from President Trump, and people's reactions to it. To address this lack of information and on the ground analysis, the IEA is bringing together three leading lights from the US think tank world to get beneath the surface of what is really happening in the United States during the pandemic, and to debate the merits of policies being deployed. Join us as we take a deep dive into the US response and what this might all mean for the land of the free and the home of the brave

GUEST SPEAKERS

Ryan Bourne, R. Evan Scharf Chair for the Public Understanding of Economics, CATO
Joseph G Lehman, President, Mackinac Center
Dr Tom Palmer, Executive Vice President for International Programs, Atlas Network
