we won another month to push back on false solutions

Hello Friend,

Since we first learned of the nuclear lobby's "blueprint" for more wasteful and dangerous nuclear energy, AGREE and our coalition allies have been mobilizing to stop it. We know the facts show that this would be nothing but a waste of time, money, and create deadly radioactive waste. Which may be why the process around this plan has been so secretive and rushed, with barely any time scheduled for public comments.

So, we did what we do best: organize. And through join efforts by coalition groups and our elected allies, we were able to push the comment deadline back a whole month.

We now have until November 8th to make the biggest public comment impact we can. You don't have to be an expert--just use the template from Nuclear Information and Resource Service's letter writing tool. Feel free to personalize!

But that's not all. While we're working hard to stop false solutions like nuclear, we're working just as hard to start getting real solutions built, like neighborhood scale thermal energy networks.

This is an essential project for New York, so whether you're unfamiliar, or an expert wanting to get more involved, join our Executive Director Jessica Azulay alongside an array of experts at Build Decarbonization's New York National Policy Call on Monday for a deep dive on this essential subject.

See you there?
