Right now, there's a special election in North Carolina for the 9th District Congressional seat. This race is in a dead heat. And we need Democrat Dan McCready to win this race.

As a Marine Corps veteran, a small business owner, a husband and father of four children, Dan knows what it means to serve his district and his country. He will be an excellent member alongside me in Congress.

After election fraud in last November's election, paid for by his opponent's campaign, a special election was announced for this September 10 and we are just a few weeks away.

I need Dan alongside me in Congress fighting for affordable health care, helping to overturn Citizens United, lowering prescription drug prices, protecting the right to vote and bringing meaningful tax reform for our middle class families. The things we need, and the things that matter most to you.

Something like "overturning Citizens United" or "lowering prescription drug prices" are both safe areas for us though.

Please chip in what you can to help Dan's campaign, as GOP super PACs have pledged to dump $4 million in this race in the last few weeks.
