We just recently launched Jared’s new TV ad about keeping our communities safe.
This ad features Eric Samson, the Androscoggin County Sheriff who is supporting Jared because he’s willing to stand up to his own party to keep Mainers safe, unlike his opponent Austin Theriault who voted against millions of dollars in funding for the state police because the budget came from the other party.
As Sheriff Samson explains in the ad, the past few years have been challenging for law enforcement. But the one thing they’ve never had to worry about is whether Jared will have their backs.
Jared voted for billions of dollars for state and local law enforcement and to secure the border and will always fight back against efforts to defund the police. We need a leader who puts public safety first, and that’s Jared Golden.
