Dear Friend,

Are you ready to cast your ballot in the upcoming election? The health of our planet and the health of our democracy are inextricably linked — and those most impacted by the climate crisis are also facing the greatest barriers to voting. That’s why we’re celebrating National Voter Education Week this week to help voters in our community bridge the gap between registering to vote and casting their ballot.

Throughout the week, everyone is encouraged to take different actions, bringing you one step closer to becoming a confident voter. Here some of the actions you can take to celebrate National Voter Education Week:

Check your registration status and your state’s voter registration deadlines.

🗳️ If you’re not registered yet, or you need to update your voter registration, become a registered voter!

💾 Print out, screenshot, or otherwise save your choices for each item on your ballot.

Make a Plan to Vote

🏛️ Ask yourself HOW you plan to vote: By mail, in person early or on Election Day?

📅 Ask yourself WHEN you plan to vote: Add it to your calendar today!

Share with Friends and Family

🗣️ You are a trusted voice in your community! Help your friends and family get the information they need to vote using sample materials online.

🌟 Triple your vote by helping 3 friends get #VoteReady.

You can always visit NationalVoterEducationWeek.org for more information and resources to help you take action on each day of the week. We’re so excited to be joining a coalition of partners to get more voters comfortable and confident in the voting process ahead of this year’s crucial election.

We can’t combat the climate crisis without a just and equitable democracy that works for everyone. Make sure you’re prepared to make your voice heard this November — happy voting!

Onward,

Justin Kwasa
