Ballots drop in Arizona on Wednesday. Early voting begins on Wednesday. And Ruben debates Kari Lake on Wednesday.

This is a huge day.

But we’ve got bad news: We should be leading up to a massive surge of donations right now, but our donations have slowed to a crawl. Worse, our average donation is down significantly. If something doesn’t change, we’re in real trouble.

We’re on track to miss our goals, which is exactly what Kari Lake and Trump are hoping for. It’s not great.

Way we see it, there are two ways to catch up:

We either need more people who haven’t chipped in yet to make their first donation.
Or we need everyone who has donated to give again — just a little more than their highest donation.

Most first time donors give $5 or $10. Today, we’re asking you to make your first donation online, and to give $15 to help us make up for lost ground. How about it?
