They fuel hate, division, and violence against communities who have been targeted by such rhetoric for centuries.
We've seen this before. It’s the same kind of rhetoric that has been used to justify hate against Jewish people, that paints Democrats as shadowy villains. It is despicable, and it has no place in Congress—or in our society.
