We’ve reached the point in the election when everyone is checking the polls constantly.

I do it too.

We’re all desperate for the missing piece of info that will answer the question at the heart of it all: Are we going to win????

And the tough reality is: We don’t know. The election is on a razor’s edge.

Now, I could talk about the latest polls. I could talk about whether we’ve got a slight edge and where we’re gaining or losing with different demographic groups. I could nerd out about crosstabs and the margin of error and different pollster records.

But here’s what it comes down to:

We’re tantalizingly close to a win that can deliver a Harris presidency and the democratic majorities needed to enshrine reproductive freedom, democracy reform and voting rights, and a bold economic agenda to help working families…

And we’re also terrifyingly close to a loss that puts the architects of Project 2025 in office and us back in a desperate fight for our democracy.

The difference could well come down to the effort we put in over the next 30 days.

So please, if you’ve been meaning to give -- give now. Because an election that’s within the margin of error is also within the margin of effort. The doors we knock, the conversations we have, and the voters we contact are what will decide which future we wake up to on November 6th.
