The Democratic Party
-----------------------
John, I'll be straight with you. Tomorrow marks the halfway point through August, but we aren't halfway to this month's fundraising goal. I fear we could come up short of this month's goal, and with the stakes this high, that's a risk we simply can't afford to take.

As the only national party committee providing candidates up and down the ballot with the programs it takes to win, the DNC cannot afford to lag behind on our fundraising goals. If we fall short, we might have to make cuts to crucial programs like:

-- The Best Practices Institute which, in this year alone, has already trained over 10,000 grassroots volunteers, activists, and candidates to take on Trump and the GOP.

-- The DNC War Room, our rapid-response opposition research arm that holds Trump accountable by exposing his lies and broken promises and uplifting stories of those harmed by his policies.

-- Our Civic Engagement and Voter Protection Department dedicated to defending ballot access and continuing programs like A Seat at the Table, Mujeres Mobilized, and New Blue Crew, which helped Democrats win in 2017 and 2018.

We're at risk of falling behind, John, but if each supporter who reads this pitches in before tomorrow at midnight, we can stay on track. Can you donate $3 before tomorrow's mid-month deadline so we can stay on track to keep these programs funded to their full potential?

It will take a heck of a lot of work to win everywhere in 2020. Democrats need a massive coalition of well-trained organizers, an expansive voter file, ironclad data security, and more to win. Any of these programs at anything less than full strength would make it that much harder for Democrats to cross the finish line.

Donald Trump and the RNC are fundraising at a record pace, but we know we can win as long as we stick to our deadlines and consistently hit our goals. If we don't pick up our fundraising pace right now, we could fall behind. That's why I'm coming to you in this important moment, John:

Donate $3 before tomorrow at midnight and keep the DNC on track to fund the programs Democrats nationwide need to win up and down the ballot.

Thank you for standing with us,

Tom

Democratic National Committee

P.S. We've won in years when Republicans raised twice as much money as we did because we invest wisely in programs to help Democrats win -- but that means reaching must-hit goals like this one. Make a $3 donation before tomorrow's mid-month deadline to support Democrats and the programs that help them win.
