Have you ever thought of learning something new? Having the opportunity to learn new skills and carve a better future is important. When Daniel struggled to find work, his encounter with a CAFOD funded training programme allowed him to earn a living and provide for his family. He has now his own workshop. Here he is able to create beautiful doors, chairs and cabinets for happy customers.
Â
CAFOD's Family Fast Day Appeal runs until 30 October, there's still time to help people like Daniel gain new skills.

This October, we invite you to pray the rosary in solidarity with your global family. Discover reflections on the mysteries, resources for children and how you can join our weekly online prayer as a community.
As the conflict escalates, we especially invite you to join us in praying a decade of the rosary for peace in the Middle East region.
With rising conflict in the Middle East, we join Pope Francisâ call for a day of prayer. In a year of pain, where can we find hope amid the suffering?
To fund the vital lifesaving work we do across the world, we rely on the generosity of our supporters. If you can, please consider donating ÂŁ2 a month. It really makes all the difference and will only take a short moment of your time. Thank you.
