Dear Friend,
I am beyond grateful to all of those who have answered the
call to join our Autumn 2X Match Challenge. The response has been
overwhelming and inspiring. But with just three days left before the
deadline, we've still not reached our goal. Your generosity can make a
critical impact to help provide care and support for millions of
people living with Alzheimer's, not to mention vital research funding.
Can I count on you to rush a gift before time runs out?

A generous donor who wishes to remain anonymous has
pledged to match every gift - up to $120,000 - to support
Alzheimer's research if we can raise that same amount by October 8.
That means that your gift can have 2X the impact on furthering our
mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia
- by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and
early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.

This generous donor, whose husband is living with Alzheimer's
disease, made the decision to offer this match challenge after seeing
firsthand how the Association provides support, research funding and
advocacy:
"We like the full mission of the
Association of providing care and support to individuals and families
with Alzheimer's and other dementias, the research and advocacy goals.
We have benefited from the Association's work. We want to contribute
to this work so that other families can receive the support they need
and so the research and advocacy will continue."
As a member of our community who cares about this cause, you
can help:
* Expand access to quality care for those who require it and
broaden overall support to those living with the disease.
* Increase our investment in research to accelerate risk reduction
and more effective treatment for Alzheimer's and all other
dementia.
* Secure significant advances in our state and federal policy
priorities to improve the lives of those with dementia, as well
as their caregivers.
Nearly 7 million Americans are currently living with
Alzheimer's. This cruel disease is an escalating global public health
crisis. Please take immediate action today in the fight to end
Alzheimer's, when you can have 2X the impact during our Autumn 2X
Match Challenge.

Through the support of this community, exciting advancements
have been achieved. There are U.S. Food and Drug
Administration-approved treatments that could meaningfully change the
course of the disease for some people living with early Alzheimer's.
But these treatments aren't for everyone, and our work is far from
over.
We won't rest until everyone living with Alzheimer's or other
dementia - at any stage - can get the treatment, care and
support they need and deserve.
I know you share our commitment in this fight. I urge you to
make a gift today while it can have 2X the impact. There is more we
must do, and it's urgent that we raise the funding needed to keep
progress going.

Don't miss out on this limited opportunity to bring us closer
to achieving our vision of a world without Alzheimer's and all other
dementia. Please give today and seize this opportunity for your
contribution to double in impact.
