It’s National Teacher Appreciation Week and National Nurses Day -- will you stand with Antonio Delgado to show love and support for our educators and nurses?

Friend --
COVID-19 has illustrated more clearly than ever how teachers and nurses are everyday heroes.
Parents, guardians, and others are being asked to take on new roles, often while trying to work or figure out how to get a new job during a pandemic. Many teachers are buying their own home office supplies to help students learn and give them support and love with virtual hugs.
Lacey and I, like many parents across upstate New York, have certainly found it a challenge to homeschool.
America's nurses are heroes too, especially now.
They spend more time than any other medical frontline worker tending to COVID-19 patients, helping doctors do what is needed to treat Americans and help them recover from the virus.
And with visitation impossible, nurses are often the only ones available to give love and comfort in the final moments for those who perish from this terrible disease.
Social distancing has kept us apart, but we have found a deeper connection with and appreciation for our teachers and our nurses.
So, for National Teacher Appreciation Week and National Nurses Day, I’m asking you to show your love and support for teachers and nurses. If you can, please split a donation between the American Federation of Teachers' COVID-19 Response Fund and the American Nurses Foundation's Coronavirus Response Fund.
Thank you,
Antonio
