We only have six weeks to help Charles Booker in Kentucky, Jamaal Bowman in New York, and Andrew Romanoff in Colorado beat their corporate-backed incumbents.

With the coronavirus crisis playing such a prominent role in our lives right now, it can be hard to remember that elections are still happening and fossil fuel CEOs are still trying to influence politicians. We cannot let them take advantage of this crisis and build strength. We have to replace them with representatives who answer to the people and who will champion a Green New Deal.

Can you phone bank with us to build power for these amazing candidates? [[link removed]] The most valuable way to let people know that Booker, Bowman, and Romanoff are the clear choices for these seats is to have person-to-person conversations.

Sunrise phone bankers could be the deciding factor in their victories. Our movement has powered victories before. We made thousands of calls on behalf of Marie Newman in Chicago, and she won that seat over a 15-year incumbent by 3,000 votes.

The races in Kentucky, New York, and Colorado are just as close. It could be our efforts that win the margin of victory for these candidates. Plus, phone banks are a great way for us to check in with people around the country who are dealing with the COVID crisis in different ways.

Building these relationships, inviting people into the movement, advocating for Green New Deal champions -- this is how we grow stronger as a community and a movement and win a Green New Deal for everyone.
