Jon Tester and Sherrod Brown here. We wish we had better news, but the truth is we’re in the fight of our lives and unless grassroots supporters like you help us out today, we could be in trouble. »

Mitch McConnell and his super PACs are throwing hundreds of millions of dollars at Montana and Ohio, and the attacks are working—polls in both our races are neck-and-neck right as voters prepare to head to the ballot box.

Just take a look at what the talking heads have to say:

National Republicans think they can buy our seats, but we’ve got a secret weapon: You. Our supporters are teachers, electricians, farmers, autoworkers, hardworking folks who chip in $5 here or $10 there because they believe in the future we’re fighting for.

And when we all come together to do what we can, we’re strong enough to take on any bully.

Look, we’ve won tough elections before and we’re not afraid to put up a fight. But to win races as competitive as ours, we’ll need to build the strongest grassroots teams the country has ever seen. That means we need you, John.

We’ve set a rapid response Big Sky Buckeye Fund goal to raise $100,000 in the next 48 hours. So we’re personally asking: Will you chip in $10 to split between our campaigns and Democracy On The Line to power us through? »

The next few weeks will be an uphill battle. But if we all do our part, we can send this seven-fingered dirt farmer and disheveled champion for the Dignity of Work back to the Senate.
