And while this is a situation we need to take seriously, it’s far from dire and no one is panicking. Overcoming setbacks is part of every election (and, of course, part of life)!
The good news is that I have every confidence in our incredible grassroots team to get the job done. This is the same team that scraped and clawed our way to a tough victory two years ago — when we won exactly 50.1% of the vote — and I know we can do the same this year, if we dig deep and work at it.
