Ruben Gallego Headshot

John — it's Ruben. Personal note from me today, before tonight’s deadline.

It’s hard to shake the feeling that something’s wrong.

I’m not sure what it is, but you can always tell when something bad’s going to happen. I’ve got to tell you — right now, it feels like something’s off. I keep hearing about how this Senate race is locked up, that Kari Lake’s as good as defeated. I’m not seeing that.

You can’t escape the attack ads out here. Every time you turn on the TV they’re on. Trump’s got his eyes firmly fixed on Arizona, and Elon Musk is spending millions of his own money on get-out-the-vote efforts here. Kari Lake is still a threat, and don’t forget — she only lost by a few thousand votes last time.

And at the same time, our own fundraising… it’s not good, John. Without giving too much away here, we’re looking at big cuts because we’re not pulling in as much as we hoped we would. All of that adds up.

Marines have an old motto: “First to Fight.” In Iraq, we’d use special knocks to identify friend from foe when we were surrounded by insurgents. The comfort was knowing your friends were with you, that you had each other’s back.

In Iraq, I had my Marines. In this campaign, I have you. I’ll fight it out on my own if I have to, but I’m not afraid to ask for help when I need it.

My team is facing a critical deadline coming up tonight, so I’m knocking. I need your help. Please, John.

Can I count on you to make a split donation ($25, or anything, really) with Mary Trump's Democracy Defense Fund before tonight’s deadline? We’ve got to keep the pressure on. This is too important.

If you’ve saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately.
