As the daughter of immigrants, Yvette is honored to have earned this endorsement. She has boldly led the charge to protect DACA recipients and those impacted by deferred enforced departure and is a proponent of abolishing ICE.

Yvette has also cosponsored legislation that would force ICE and CBP agents to wear body cameras while engaged in official operations to reduce instances of abuse or mistreatment.

The 9th Congressional District is one of the most diverse communities in the United States, and Yvette is working to build an America that works for everyone — regardless of your place of birth or immigration status.
