One month.

One month until Election Day 2024. Yet Early Voting will begin earlier —
and some voters are casting ballots as we speak.

The polls are close. I understand that this could feel scary for you. The
stakes of this election are scary. The future of abortion rights, the
Supreme Court, and our democracy will be decided.

But right now, I’m choosing hope over fear.

In 2020, Americans showed up in record-shattering numbers — even in the
middle of a pandemic — to vote out Donald Trump. Joe Biden and Kamala
Harris won more votes than any ticket in history.

In the 2022 midterms, experts kept saying that we were in for a “red
wave.” They kept insisting that Democrats had no chance to win. But we
expanded our Democratic Senate majority, and we defeated downballot
election deniers.

And every time abortion rights have been left up to voters in the two
years since Roe v. Wade was overturned, abortion rights have won. Every
single time. Not by a little bit, not by a squeaker, but by a big margin.

We can win in 2024 too. We can elect Kamala Harris, stop Trump’s Project
2025 plan from being realized, pass national abortion protections and so
much more. But none of this is guaranteed. You don’t get what you don’t
fight for — and now is the time to raise our voices, to act, to fight.

[ [link removed] ]If you’re able, will you split a donation between the Harris-Walz
campaign and our re-election so we can do everything we possibly can in
the next month to hold our Senate majority, defeat Donald Trump, defend
our democracy and protect our freedoms?

Two very stark realities are within our reach right now.

On one hand, we've got President Harris in the White House, and we've got
Democratic control of the House and the Senate. We make Roe v. Wade law of
the land everywhere. We eliminate the filibuster. We pass gun safety
legislation. We pass the Voting Rights Act and end gerrymandering. We pass
the PRO Act, to give workers power. We tax billionaires and corporations
more after Trump’s tax cuts expire, creating opportunity for Universal
Childcare, affordable housing, and clean energy investments.

On the other, we’ve got Trump in the White House and lose Senate control.
We could face a national abortion ban, and lose our rights to IVF care and
birth control too. Trump could nominate the next one, two, or three
far-right Supreme Court justices. His Project 2025 plan would be weakening
our government and our democracy. The Affordable Care Act, Medicare, and
Social Security will be under assault. Billionaires and corporations would
receive yet another tax cut, while working families foot the bill.

Both are within our reach, and the actions we take in the next month will
determine which path we go down.

These threats on our rights, institutions, and democracy are meant to
exhaust us. Meant to drain us of our will to fight. But we can’t let them
succeed. We will choose hope over fear.

I’m throwing everything I’ve got into this fight. That’s my plan from now
to November 5th. And I’m asking you to stay by my side.

[ [link removed] ]We can’t afford to wake up on November 6 and wish that we had done
more. So will you please split a donation between the Harris-Walz campaign
and our re-election right now?

Thanks for being a part of this,

Elizabeth
