FIELD OFFICE MEETING
On Saturday, September 28, Gov. Hogan was joined by volunteers, community members, and local leaders at his Prince George’s County Field Office in Mount Rainier.


Gov. Hogan: “Thank you to all of the incredible volunteers, community members, and local leaders who joined us this morning at our Prince George’s County Field Office in Mount Rainier. This campaign is about giving a voice to the exhausted majority—Marylanders who are tired of the partisan BS. Together, we will send strong, independent leadership to Washington.”

While in Mount Rainier, Gov. Hogan then had the opportunity to visit some furry friends!

COMMUNITY FESTIVALS

The same day, Gov. Hogan stopped by the Route One Apparel OneFest in Towson.


Gov. Hogan: “Thank you to our Small Businesses for Hogan co-chair Ali Von Paris and her team for having us! I remember when Route One first began, and I am so proud to see all of her continued success.”

Next, Gov. Hogan visited the Harford County Wine Festival.


Gov. Hogan: “The sun came out just in time for the Harford County Wine Festival. We enjoyed meeting so many residents and visitors—thank you to Sarah Klein for showing us around and for the warm welcome. Cheers!”

Gov. Hogan then attended the Maryland Italian Festival in Harford to cap off a busy day!


Gov. Hogan: “We had a fantastic time today at the Maryland Italian Festival in Harford County—the largest celebration of Italian culture in the state! Events like this highlight the vibrant communities and local traditions that make Maryland special…Thank you to the Society of Italian American Businessmen for having us!”

FACE THE NATION
On Sunday, September 29, Gov. Hogan joined CBS’ Face the Nation to talk about his campaign and the importance of finding common ground.

THANKING THOSE WHO GIVE BACK
On Monday, September 30, Gov. Hogan visited the Rockville Volunteer Fire Department’s headquarters and had the opportunity to speak with volunteers and tour their firehouse.


Gov. Hogan: “In every region of the state, we visit our volunteer fire departments to thank the dedicated men and women who give back to their communities…


I have always been a proud supporter of our state’s first responders, and I am honored to be supported by so many organizations that represent the brave men and women who serve our state."

Gov. Hogan: “While visiting the Rockville Volunteer Fire Department, it was an honor to meet the parents of fallen Deputy Chief State Fire Marshal Sander Cohen who lost his life in the line of duty in 2017.


Our firefighters are true heroes who put their lives on the line and run toward the danger to protect their fellow Marylanders. They answer the call to serve, and we are forever grateful to those who made the ultimate sacrifice."

MARYLAND’S HINDU COMMUNITY
The same day, Gov. Hogan met members of BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Hindu Temple in Beltsville.


Gov. Hogan: “Thank you to the members of BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Hindu Temple in Beltsville for welcoming me last night. I was incredibly grateful to take part in last night's beautiful service and spend time with so many members of our state's Hindu community.”

MEETING WITH LONGSHOREMEN
On Tuesday, October 1, Gov. Hogan stopped at the Port of Baltimore to meet one on one with the longshoremen on the picket lines. He encouraged both sides to come to the table so folks can get back to work quickly and we can keep the country moving.


Gov. Hogan: “The work of the longshoremen at the Port of Baltimore is critical to the supply chain of our entire nation. After what they went through during the COVID-19 pandemic to keep the port open and in the aftermath of the Key Bridge collapse, it’s important these hard working men and women know how much we value everything they do.”

The same day, Gov. Hogan met Orioles fans at Pickles Pub in Baltimore ahead of the Orioles’ playoff game!

MAYRYLAND’S IGBO COMMUNITY
That night, Gov. Hogan had the pleasure of meeting with members of Maryland’s Igbo community in Baltimore County and talked about his campaign to bring strong independent leadership to Washington.

STANDING AGAINST HATE
On Wednesday, October 2, Gov. Hogan was honored to address the Jewish Institute for National Security of America as we approach the anniversary of the horrific October 7th attacks.


Gov. Hogan: “In the last 24 hours, the Iranian attack on the people of Israel has reminded us that Iran and its proxies would commit October 7ths every single day if given the chance. Our prayers are with the people of Israel and those prayers must be matched with a clear and unshakable commitment to Israel's security. We must firmly stand with our closest ally, and I call on Congress to end its recess and act swiftly to provide Israel with security assistance.”

AN IMPORTANT ENDORSEMENT
The same day, Gov. Hogan was honored to receive the official—and unanimous—endorsement of the Maryland Fraternal Order of Police and the 20,000 active and retired officers that they represent.


Gov. Hogan: “As governor, I was proud to be the first elected leader in America to strongly speak out against the ‘Defund the Police’ movement, and pass a landmark Re-Fund The Police initiative to increase funding for law enforcement. My opponent not only applauded calls to defund the police—she put them into action. We can no longer allow politics to get in the way of public safety because when politicians only pass soft-on-crime policies, Marylanders suffer.


In the Senate, my top priority will be making sure Maryland's law enforcement family has the support they need to keep our communities safe.

MARYLAND’S JEWISH COMMUNITY
That evening, Gov. Hogan stopped by Rosh Hashanah Under the Stars in Baltmiore County and wished members of Maryland’s Jewish community a happy new year.

A MAJOR MILESTONE
Thursday, October 3, marked eight years since Gov. Hogan completed his very last chemotherapy treatment.


Gov. Hogan: “Fighting through the challenge of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma taught me invaluable lessons: to make the most of every day, to take every opportunity to do something great, and the most important things in your life aren’t actually things—they’re people.


To this day, I am deeply grateful to say that I am still 100% cancer-free. I will always proudly stand with all of those who are fighting this terrible disease, and I encourage Marylanders to talk to your healthcare provider scheduling a cancer screening. Early detection saves lives.

Hi, it’s Governor Larry Hogan.


When I launched my campaign for the U.S. Senate, I did so with a deep resolve to maintain the leadership style and principles that guided me during my eight years as governor.


Fifty years ago, my father, Maryland Congressman Larry Hogan Sr. made a tough decision. He became the first Republican to come out for the impeachment of President Nixon. He put aside party politics and his own personal considerations and stepped up to do the right thing for Maryland and the nation.


Today, Washington is completely broken because that kind of leadership and willingness to put country over party has become far too rare. But it’s not in my nature to sit back and watch the dysfunction continue without doing what I can to roll up my sleeves and get to work.


I’m under no illusion this will be an easy road. But I’m no stranger to uphill battles, and I know I can’t do it without your support.


I don't aspire to be a United States senator. I don’t need a title and I don’t need a job, but I’m more concerned than ever about the direction of the country and I have become more convinced that I can make a difference by taking the approach and style of leadership I had during my eight years as governor to Washington.

It’s no surprise this mindset has made me a target of the Washington partisans. Despite early polls showing a lead, I know I’m the underdog in this race. And that’s why your support TODAY is so crucial.
