Good morning! I’m sorry to reach out so
early on a Saturday, but this update couldn’t wait. Let me explain why:

To start the week, we learned that Mitch McConnell’s dark money super PAC
placed a last-minute eight-figure ad buy in Wisconsin to boost my opponent
and tear me down.

You only spend that kind of money this close to the election if you know
this seat is winnable. And that means Republicans are on track to outspend
us now through Election Day.

Then, more recent polling showed a tightening race between me and my
right-wing opponent — with Wisconsin now frequently being polled as the
closest Senate race in the country.

So here’s where things stand: If Republicans continue to outspend us as
they surge in the polls, Hovde will inch ahead and flip this seat red.

We can stop them, but not unless we make new ad reservations to reach
voters so we can fight back against this sudden flood of Republican
spending.
