What Diddy and Tate Charges Show About Modern-Day Sex Trafficking
Her boyfriend was one of the biggest names in the hip-hop industry. Many outsiders envied the money and power associated with being the romantic partner of this incredibly influential figure in music. But what went on behind closed doors was truly sinister.
She was
drugged and raped
by prostituted men who were paid for by this music mogul, while he watched and gratified himself. He even
filmed the abuse
, threatening to release it in order to ensure the silence of his victims. It went on regularly for years.
And she wasn’t the only one.
This is the story of the abuse that was allegedly inflicted by Sean Combs, popularly known as “P. Diddy,” on dozens of women.

The National News Desk:
New AI bills signed in California aim to protect children from deepfakes
This week California Governor, Gavin Newsom, signed two key pieces of legislation into law that will protect children from the growing problem of AI-generated child sexual abuse material (CSAM). The bills make it a felony to possess or distribute AI-generated CSAM, whether it is a real person depicted in the images or not.
NCOSE Law Center's Senior Legal Counsel, Peter Gentala, was featured in this story, offering his insight on the need for legislation to combat the problem of AI-generated CSAM.
"Gentala said that creating AI images isn't anything new. '
But the technology has never been more available' he said.
As a result, Gentala said crimes to exploit children have gone up.
'The number of crimes that have occurred using generative AI to avoid accountability for exploiting children have spiked,' Gentala said."

Cloudflare Provides a Platform for Sex Buyers and Traffickers
Between 10-20% of Americans have bought someone to use for sex. That's somewhere between 33 million and 66 million people. And Cloudflare is causing these numbers to grow.
Cloudflare is a tech company that harbors internet infrastructure for some of the most prolific prostitution sites – many of which have come under fire for sex trafficking.
It provides basic web framework for some of the largest sex buyer "review boards," where sex buyers can rate and review prostituted women like products. Cloudflare also supports other prostitution sites (or so-called " escort sites") and sites that host AI tools used to generate pornography of unsuspecting individuals, mostly women.
This platform provides essential components that keep these exploitative sites operational. In fact, none of them could function at their current scale without Cloudflare.

ACTION: Insist Cloudflare Stop Enabling Sexual Exploitation
The demand for paid sex is what fuels the prostitution marketplace and, inherently, sex trafficking. If there was no demand for prostitution, sex trafficking would cease to exist. This is why it is vital for Cloudflare to stop enabling sexual exploitation by allowing its technology to be used for the purposes of prostitution and sex trafficking.

Lawsuit Spotlight: Nevada Government Enables Sex Trafficking
Meet Jane Doe.
She is one of the countless women who have been exploited and sex trafficked in legal, state-sanctioned Nevada brothels.
“Legalizing prostitution makes it’s safer,” people say. “It’s a job just like any other,” people say.
But let’s look at what Jane and the other women experienced in these brothels. And we will see if it seems like a normal job.
The brothels Jane was sex trafficked in—which included well-known, “reputable” brothels like Mustang Ranch (owned by Story County Commissioner, Lance Gilman), Chicken Ranch, and Desert Rose—were usually surrounded by high, barbed wire fences and locked gates that Jane and the other women had no key for.
Jane was not allowed to leave, nor even step outside into the locked yard, without asking for permission.
When permission was granted for Jane and the women to leave, they were restricted to staying in certain locations and had to disclose where exactly they were going.
Jane Doe was forced to open her mail and her medications in front of brothel staff. At Chicken Ranch,
Jane was often denied medication
altogether. When Jane Doe was sent jewelry, Chicken Ranch forced her to sell it and took half of the proceeds.
