Angela is a retired elementary school teacher in Houston, Texas. She immigrated to the United States 25 years ago from Colombia in search of better opportunities. She was hired to teach at an elementary school, which provided her a chance to pursue her dreams.

Angela is also a caregiver for her mother, Imelda. She was so inspired by the Biden-Harris administration and excitedly donated to win the “Premiere Night with the Presidents” Contest in LA -- and won! She and her mother got the opportunity to meet President Biden and President Obama. Angela and Imelda are excited to support Vice President Harris, and they’re both early voting by mail.
