I pray that you and your loved ones are safe and well, and that this Ramadan is bringing you peace and joy during these turbulent times. The MCB team continues to do its part in trying to help you stay safe this Ramadan with our #RamadanAtHome resources ([link removed]) , our social media ([link removed]) output and our weekly community briefings ([link removed]) .

We have been working tirelessly over the last few months to serve our communities, coordinating efforts to help Muslims struggling in the wake of this pandemic, and to help British Muslims to adapt to a Ramadan from home. Our work on COVID-19 ([link removed]) and Ramadan ([link removed]) has been widely shared, and we pray it brings benefit to our communities.

Ramadan is a time of giving, and during this holy month I wish to ask you to consider maximising your rewards and donating ([link removed]) any Zakat ([link removed]) or Sadaqah ([link removed]) to the MCB.

The Muslim Council of Britain is a not-for-profit, we need support ([link removed]) from individuals and organisations like you to help us to continue to strengthen, empower and serve British Muslim communities.

As with all non-profits, we have also been impacted during this time. We have had to cancel our flagship Muslim Leadership Dinner, the beacon of our yearly calendar, and postpone our AGM and Visit My Mosque activities. However, we will continue to serve and deliver for our members and community, finding new opportunities to do more. We hope that we can count on your generosity of support during this time as well.

I know these are difficult times for everyone, but Allah (SWT) has given us the opportunity this month to get closer to Him by helping others. No amount is too small, and I would ask you to give what you can if you are in a position to do so.
