Chair's Corner

Aloha,

With only a couple weeks left until the ballots drop and then a short time after it will be November 5th, Election Day, we are closer than ever to creating the future of our great state and nation. Your involvement is critical in this final stretch to help our Republican candidates cross the finish line and secure victories that will impact Hawaii for years to come.

Here’s what we need to do NOW to help our candidates:

Ballot Harvesting. Do it Legally and Strategically.
Hawaii allows ballot harvesting, and we need to maximize this opportunity. Many of our supporters, especially the elderly, may not have easy access to polling stations. Here’s how you can help:

Collect Ballots: Offer to collect and submit ballots for neighbors, friends, and family who might need assistance. Make sure they’ve filled out their ballots and signed them correctly.

Visit Community Centers: If you belong to any community groups, churches, or organizations, encourage members to vote and help them drop off their ballots.

Volunteer to Help: Join a ballot collection teams to ensure that every Republican vote is counted. Create a party, group, event to get ballots dropped off.

Engage with Voters in Your Community.
You have the power to influence those around you. Here’s how you can make a difference:

Knock on Doors: Join  door 2 door campaigns to remind voters to submit their ballots. Personal conversations with neighbors are one of the most effective ways to increase turnout.

Phone Calls and Texts: Pick up the phone! Call or text your fellow Republicans to ensure they’ve voted or plan to vote. Studies show that a personal reminder can increase voter turnout by 10%.

Drive Voter Turnout: Offer rides to polling stations for those who may face transportation challenges. Even a short trip can be the difference in this tight race.

Boost Visibility and Energy
Now is the time to show our support for our candidates! Let’s remind Hawaii that we stand strong for the values that matter:

Put Up Yard Signs: If you haven’t already, place a yard sign for your favorite candidate in your yard or offer to distribute more in your community.

Wear Campaign Gear: When you go out in public, wear your campaign hats, shirts, or pins to show your support. Visibility matters in these final days.

Attend Rallies: Make sure to attend local rallies or campaign events. Your presence will boost morale and show strength in numbers. Host a neighborhood town hall.

Focus on Swing Voters and Moderate Democrats
Hawaii is known for its diversity, and there are many moderates who may not agree with far left and liberal policies. Reach out to swing voters and moderate Democrats in your community:

Talk About Local Issues: Many voters care deeply about local issues like high taxes, affordable housing, the handling of the Lahaina fire, keep taxes low for agricultural land and farmers, protect out children, parental rights, alternative economic solutions, less government, and more. Make sure to discuss how our candidates offer solutions to these problems.

Be Positive and Engaging: Approach undecided voters with a positive attitude. Share why you believe our candidates will benefit Hawaii, especially in addressing the day to day challenges we all face, such as increase in gas and groceries, unaffordable housing, foreign land buyouts, keep our children safe from groomers, protect parental rights, no property tax for over 65 seniors, etc.

Use Social Media to Mobilize
Social media is a powerful tool to rally our supporters and engage with potential voters:

Share Campaign Messages: Post messages from our candidates, share important election deadlines, and encourage your followers to submit their ballots.

Highlight Key Issues: Focus on issues that resonate with the people of Hawaii, such as economic recovery, education reform, and public safety. Make sure to explain how Republican policies will address these concerns.

Ensure Election Integrity
We must protect the integrity of this election. Here’s how you can help:

Become a Poll Watcher: Sign up to be a Voter Service Center Watcher (a.k.a. poll watcher) and help us ensure that the voting process is conducted fairly and transparently.

Report Irregularities: If you see anything unusual or suspicious during the voting process, report it immediately. Election integrity is essential to a free and fair process.

Let’s Make History…Together

With your help, we can make a significant impact on this election. We are proud of our Republican values, and now is the time to fight for them. Every single vote counts in these last couple of weeks. Your engagement could be the deciding factor in these races.

Let’s make sure our candidates get across the finish line and lead Hawaii toward a brighter future.

Mahalo for your support and dedication.

The Declaration of our Country is impressive

Possibly it is thought when we read our Declaration
that it is  lengthy.  Possibly reading the actual segments of
our Country notice to England King can impress readers
of its intelligent creation.
This next written portion reflects our old considerations
about surviving as transplanted humans.
“He has abdicated Government here, by declaring us out
of his Protection and waging War against us.
He has plundered our seas, ravaged our Coasts, burnt our
towns, and destroyed the lives of our people.
He is at this time transporting large Armies of foreign
Mercenaries to complete the works of death, desolation and
tyranny, already begun with circumstances of Cruelty and perfidy
scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally
unworthy the Head of a civilized nation.
He has constrained our fellow Citizens taken Captive on the
high Seas to bear Arms against their Country, to become the
executioners of their friends and Brethren, or to fall themselves by
their Hands.
He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has
endeavored to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless
Indian Savages, whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished
destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions.”
