LITIGATION FINANCING ([link removed])
------------------------------------------------------------

**
Can you spot the lie about litigation financing below?
------------------------------------------------------------
A: Litigation financing is necessary to allow injured and cash-strapped plaintiffs to pursue their claim in court.
B: Major differences exist between contingency fee lawyers who take on cases for free in exchange for part of the recovery and third party investors who pay plaintiffs for a share of their recovery.
C: Litigation is expensive and large amounts of that expense do not go to injured plaintiffs.

** HOW TO TALK ABOUT:
AMERICA'S IMMIGRATION CHALLENGES ([link removed])
------------------------------------------------------------
* The United States has a proud heritage of welcoming immigrants from around the world.
* Immigrants contribute to the diversity of the U.S. culture as well as to the strength of our economy.
* Given that we cannot allow everyone who wants to be an American to gain citizenship, how many people do we allow and how do we prioritize them?
* The U.S. must control immigration, U.S. immigration law must put American interests first, and the rule of law must be followed.

** Opposition to National Popular Vote Makes History in Colorado
------------------------------------------------------------
Many Colorado voters were not happy with the legislature's move to join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact (NPVIC). In response Coloradans launched a petition to get the Electoral College back on the ballot in 2020. The petition drive was successful. In fact, it made history. No petition drive in the state's history has ever collected as many signatures. The Electoral College is something voters of all parties are really fired up about, and for good reason.
