winning down ballot races. In 2018, Democrats won three competitive House
seats in Iowa, contributing to our historic majority.

Katie’s childhood in Iowa shaped her career, because she saw how
politicians make promises on the campaign trail but then fail to deliver
for families. That’s how she knows that a message of government oversight
can resonate with voters in the Midwest and across the country.
