Kansans Deserve Better

Rejecting the

Biden-Harris Legacy of Failed Policies

As the geographic center of the continental U.S., Kansans are in the middle of it all. We serve as the pilot light for the rest of the country, and we do not and should not shy away from demanding the best for our nation.

Unfortunately, we have all watched the direction of our country stray further and further away from our Kansas values over the past three and half years. Make no mistake– Vice President Harris has served as the Chief Executive Officer of President Biden’s disastrous policies that are failing the country.

As the border czar, Vice President Harris has ushered in 16 million illegal immigrants with no formal vetting or background checks. Under her watch, U.S. Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) agents have stopped more than 385 individuals whose names appear on the terrorist watchlist, and report nearly 2 million ‘got-aways’ entering the country. As a result, violent criminals were released into the interior of the country and innocent Americans are being harmed and killed.

As families in middle America fought to provide for their families, the Biden-Harris Administration’s spending addiction put everyday essentials out-of-reach. While they pursued a progressive tax-and-spend spree to please their left-wing base, the Administration’s spending addiction drove inflation to a 40-year high and our national debt to $35 trillion dollars. Kansans were forced to work even harder to put the same groceries on their table that they did four years ago at half the cost.

Rather than facing the reality of the situation and fixing these issues, Vice President Harris and President Biden chose to weaponize the federal government to pursue their political opponents. Their 80+ charges against President Trump have failed to materialize into anything more than bogus headlines and talking points for the left-wing talking heads. They committed themselves to fear-mongering Americans who proudly protect the sanctity of life and leveraged official federal agencies to conduct their campaign business.

With everything our nation faces, is this really the best use of their time?

Most families want their children to grow up in a nation that is safe and secure, has a strong economy, and a culture that supports the idea that if you work hard, anyone can accomplish their American dream. Kansans believe in a nation where people are not persecuted for their values, but are free to hold on to their beliefs because that is the American way.

Vice President Harris’ America is not a nation we, or future generations will be proud of. We cannot afford to have four more years of the same madness and chaos that has haunted us since January 21, 2021. Americans deserve better.

In a few weeks, the country will head to the polls, and we have a choice— a candidate who has told us what she wants to do to address her failing policies, or the candidate who has shown us what his policies can do to support a strong nation we can be proud of. I know what choice I will make.

Federal Government Response to Helene Impotent, Political

Southeast U.S. Faces Mass Destruction After Hurricane Helene

Americans Struggle to Survive,

Feds AWOL

Hurricane Helene, despite making landfall in Florida’s Big Bend, left a trail of unprecedented destruction across the southeast United States, where at least 200+ Americans are dead, with hundreds missing.

The storm was downgraded to a tropical system as it moved north. It delivered three feet of rain in mountainous, remote areas, triggered mudslides, washed out roads, and wiped out power across the region, leaving survivors scrambling for necessities.

Emergency responders in Asheville, NC, and surrounding areas face monumental challenges. Power lines are down, cell service is spotty, and access to clean water remains scarce as damage to the area’s water systems is expected to take weeks or even months to repair.

Roads and bridges have been destroyed, cutting off communities from essential supplies. More than 1,000+ road closures, including interstates, have been announced across the region.

Although the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has begun to deliver water and meals to the state, many residents and local officials are frustrated by the pathetically slow response.

Buncombe County Manager Avril Pinder expressed her disappointment with delays in receiving critical supplies. She stated that the county requested water well before the storm. However, the first shipment of water arrived days after the storm’s impact.

State officials have acknowledged the severity of the damage, calling it a “massive coordinated effort” to meet the area’s urgent needs, and are doing their best to face monstrous and multi-pronged needs.

Emergency responders are low on motor fuel, operating fire stations on generators with no communications, knowing some isolated residents are still without medicine, oxygen, or any way to call for help or assistance.

Elon Musk has arranged for his StarLink communications system to be accessible in the impacted area; however, specific equipment is necessary to connect to StarLink. This is an excellent tool for first responders and the 911 system, but it is of no value to those isolated and in need who cannot call for help.

The storm has left thousands without access to power or clean water. As volunteers distribute bottled water at local shelters, residents are only provided a day’s supply per person. Meanwhile, officials continue to search for missing residents, prioritizing those who are elderly or medically dependent. The recovery of bodies is expected to take into the new year.

Filling the gap of the federal government's failure in this vast emergency, Samaritans' Purse, the Cajun Navy, and hundreds of other small groups, including NASCAR driver Greg Biffle, are responding. Biffle has coordinated up to 80 private helicopters to fly people in and out from remote locations where they are trapped or to fly needed water, medicine, and food into isolated Americans. This kind of automatic response for no profit except to help an American in need makes America unique. No one cares what your voter affiliation is, who you’re going to vote for, who you sleep with, or if you have facial hair. This is simply Americans helping Americans in the face of the federal government's complete abdication of their responsibilities.

Kamala Harris announced on Thursday that victims could expect a $750 check from the government “to help them recover.” Not only is $750 completely tone-deaf for folks who have literally lost everything, but Alejandro Mayorkas, DHS Secretary, announced the federal government has no further money for this relief effort or future needs. At the same time, the U.S. faces nearly two more months of hurricane season with no idea about tornadoes, vast fires, and earthquakes.

But 20,000,000 illegals have crossed into the U.S., and many are being provided free housing, transportation, medical care, and spending money while Americans are forsaken, abandoned, and dying. This is a cataclysmic failure for Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, DHS, FEMA, and USDOT.

The chart below shows the federal aid given away in US dollars. This year, the United States Government has given:

- $24,400,000,000 to Ukraine

- $11,300,000,000 to Israel

- $1,950,000,000 to Ethiopia

- $1,600,000,000 to Jordan

- $1,400,000,000 to Egypt

- $1,100,000,000 to Afghanistan

- $1,100,000,000 to Somalia

- $1,000,000,000 to Yemen

- $987,000,000 to Congo

- $896,000,000 to Syria

- $9,000 per illegal immigrant who has entered the U.S.

These facts make this administration not only incompetent but bordering on criminal.

Dismantling the

Deep State

Realigning Government Agencies for Greater Transparency and Accountability

The time has come to seriously consider dismantling bloated bureaucracies like the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) and reorganizing other massive government agencies.

By putting the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT), the Department of Energy (DOE), the Department of Agriculture (USDA), and the Federal Election Commission (FEC) under the Department of Interior (DOI), we could create a leaner, more accountable government.

Streamlining government agencies isn’t just a good idea—it’s innovative business and sound governance. Too many federal departments operate with little oversight, consuming taxpayer dollars with minimal accountability. Consolidating their functions under a smaller, more manageable umbrella could reduce waste, cut costs, and improve service to the American people.

A running scorecard for every government entity, tracking its performance and efficiency, would elevate the standard of service across the board. Transparency and accountability would no longer be vague promises but measurable realities. Holding these agencies to higher standards is crucial in restoring faith in our government and making it work for the people again. This realignment is essential to the vision of making America great again.

But this overhaul must go beyond government agencies. A renewed sense of patriotism and civic education in grade schools is equally important. Educating the next generation on their responsibilities as citizens and instilling a love of the country will reinforce the reforms in Washington.

Realigning these massive bureaucracies is not about eliminating services but about making them more efficient, accountable, and transparent. In doing so, we can create a government that works better for everyone and, most importantly, for America’s future.

Government closest to the people is the best government

Democrats Seek to Undermine Free Speech, Cancel 1A

When the truth and free speech become “problematic” for the Left, they are very predictable.

First, they pull out their old and worn-out out playbook and demonize the topic or the person. Second, they activate their communication team (sometime called the Main Stream Media) and they go to work on character assinations.

The Progressives believe the free exchange of ideas and truth versus the “company line” of the Left is a direct threat to them.

John Kerry recently revealed the underlying goal in electing Kamala Harris: purely to silence dissent. He literally said so in the video clip above.

It’s no shock that the American Communistic Democrat party demonizes the truth, tries to snuff out free speech by pressuring the main stream and social media platforms and, during the pandemic, even threatened citizens with arrest for non-compliance. Don't forget the Democrats booed God at their 2020 national convention. They increasingly embraced the deep state over faith, lying to themselves that the ends justify the means. In a burn-it-to-the-ground mentality, its totally worth it to them.

Lunatic-Lefty author Fran Lebowitz suggested in a recent interview that President Biden should “dissolve the Supreme Court.” Seriously. She said it with a straight face. And no journalist has challenged her.

In their eyes, the real enemy isn’t inflation, poverty, or foreign adversaries—it’s freedom itself.

Ironically, those truly defending America will be labeled the radicals, while the true extremists hide behind the media and empty words like “15 Days to Stop the Spread” and vacant platitudes like “It’s for the Common Good”, and “I am science.”

Current claims coming from the fake, plastic and vacant John Kerry are broadly known to be hollow in substance and inflammatory in tone. The boldness of it shocks the conscience - and is stunningly tone deaf. Everyone knows these claims are a pathetic ruse to raise money to keep their private jets flying and their houses all over the planet well lit. It’s treasonous.

Ultra Liberal MSM Seek to Undermine Free Speech, 1A

Their Hypocrisy Knows No Bounds

Predictably, McClatchy News, via the KC Star and Wichita Eagle, always needs a good “Boogey Man” leading up to the election.

The Eagle and Star both published a guest column earlier this week accusing Republicans and me, as the Chairman of the KSGOP, of attempting to dismantle the First Amendment.

Ironically, in their attempt to make their argument, they have unwittingly made my exact point versus the contorted path to a false flag they’ve tried to create in the column.

When reporting factual news, I simply stated that the press should always enjoy the First Amendment. And when they are printing stated opinion, they should also enjoy the benefits of 1A. However, when they print opinion as news in a thinly veiled attempt to bend the curve of public opinion then and there they have crossed a line

beyond the protections of the First Amendment.

This contemplated check causes grave concern by the main stream media because this is their crutch to do as they wish, always hiding behind 1A as a immunity shield. But now I’ve turned a spotlight on them and they do not like it. Too bad.

The fact is, most newspapers exist only because they make enough money from being an “official publication” in their community and not because of subscribers or advertisers outside of government.

If the Republican legislature would band together and change Kansas law to allow internet publications to serve in this capacity the newspapers would need to cater to their readers wants and needs versus their liberal editorial boards and the all-too-tempting government money to survive.

This tactic has been discussed in the past at the Kansas Legislature and needs to be revisited.

I am asking the Kansas Legislature to consider changing “KSA 64-101. Newspapers in which legal publications may be made.”

The change should include “internet and digital communications along with future broadly adopted communication tools and platforms.”

This simple change would make a world of difference to Kansans from border to border.

This is not a restriction of the First Amendment but a clarification to the news consumer. Much like campaign disclosures at the bottom of political mailers, signage, and letters, the reader must understand the context and the implicit bias laced into what is being presented as news.

This change is long overdue, and it is time to move this forward.

I wholeheartedly support the freedom of speech protected by the First Amendment.

It's a fundamental right that we must cherish and defend.

It is McClatchy news that bastardized my point and contorted the apparent facts and my opinions - which has made my point crystal clear. They aren’t a legitimate news service but the “Communications Arm of the Left.”

They twist words and thoughts to create a convenient strawman bad guy. This is exactly what is wrong with our mainstream media today, and this is why it needs to be checked.

It is time to hold them responsible and accountable, just like everyone else, when they go on a reputation-destruction bender against those with whom they politically disagree.

And the fix is a court-driven civil remedy that is long overdue.

Suspicious Mailers Show Up in Kansas Mail Boxes

Suspicious and curious fundraising solicitation mailings continue to appeared in Kansas mailboxes.

Many Kansas Republicans continue contacting the KSGOP asking about the legitimacy of the solicitions, and several attempts by the KSGOP to track down the person or people behind this mailer have not unraveled the mystery.

If you know who is responsible for these mailers, please contact the KSGOP.

In the name of authenticity, transparency and disclosure, the KSGOP encourges you NOT to send your hard-earned money to an unknown and shady source.
