Friend,

Did you catch the Vice Presidential Debate on Tuesday? As I watched, I was proud to share a ticket with Gov. Tim Walz as he took Sen. J.D. Vance to task on health care.

PROTECT OUR ACCESS TO AFFORDABLE HEALTH CARE [[link removed]]

Sen. Vance made plenty of promises about the Affordable Care Act and protecting coverage for pre-existing conditions. We’ve heard this talk from Republicans for over a decade, especially during the Trump administration’s attempts to dismantle the ACA. But Republicans have never proposed even the “concepts of a plan” that would protect pre-existing conditions.

Sen. Vance also claimed Republicans would leave reproductive rights to the states, despite his previous support for a national abortion ban.

Thankfully, Michiganders in the 58th HD don’t need to rely on just promises and claims. I have a clear record of supporting bills to guarantee coverage for pre-existing conditions, limiting co-pays on insulin, and increasing protections for home health care workers. Of course, I was also a champion of Prop 3, the successful ballot measure that enshrined reproductive rights in Michigan in 2022.

Electing Democrats up and down the ballot is the only way to guarantee our access to affordable health care and continue driving down costs for Michigan families. Will you help our campaign to protect the majority in the MI State House? [[link removed]]

Thanks,
Nate
