Folks, we talk a lot in politics about when and why to donate to campaigns.
The “why” is easy — we simply can’t win without resources to pay for all the voter outreach that needs to get done.
As for the “when”...
The truth is that the best time to donate to any campaign is early . The earlier we can build up funds, the earlier we can use them, and the more we can talk with voters about the stakes of the election.
We’re past early. There are just 32 days left in this election, and voting has already begun for millions of people (including here in Virginia).
So the “best” time is gone. But here’s the good news: The second-best time is right now .
Your donation today goes a whole lot farther than a donation later this month or even later this week because it allows my team to plan out the critical spending we need to do in these final weeks before Election Day.
So, how about it? Will you pitch in right now? My campaign team has a daily fundraising goal of $30,000 for every day of October, and any amount you can spare would help us reach that goal. [[link removed]]
