That is the donation we are asking you to make today. Yes, just $1.

$1 because Mitch McConnell and a right-wing Republican super PAC just pumped a ridiculous amount of money into Michigan to defeat us.

$1 because polling shows that this race is going to come down to the wire, and voting has already started across the state.

$1 because we have our final FEC fundraising deadline of the entire campaign coming up fast.

Friend — We know that $1 may not seem like it can stand up to all that right-wing money. But by the time you get to this point in the email, lots and lots of people have donated their $1 today. Now they're hoping you'll do the same.

So we're asking:

Can you please make today the day you make a $1 contribution to Elissa Slotkin's campaign for U.S. Senate in Michigan? We would not ask as often as we do if it were not so terribly important.
