Are you registered to vote, John?
Depending on where you live, the deadline to register could be coming up fast. In some states, this Sunday, Oct. 6, is the last day you can register to vote.
And even if you’ve registered in the past, it’s critical to check and make sure your registration is up to date. States have purged hundreds of thousands of voters from their voter rolls since the last election — make sure you weren’t one of them.

This election is the most important election in our lifetimes — and its outcome will determine how much our federal, state, and local governments are willing and able to do to fight the climate crisis in the next pivotal four years.
Vice President Kamala Harris has a track record of being a climate champion, while Trump and his cronies have called climate change a hoax. Meanwhile, communities are suffering through very real and devastating floods, fires, and more.
We’ve already seen the damage a Trump term can do to our hardwon climate progress. We simply cannot afford another four-year pause on climate action — or worse, to lose ground once again. And if VP Harris wins, she’ll need a blue Congress with blue-aligned state partners to realize the policy change our movement demands.
Eight million environmental voters didn’t vote in 2020.1 That year, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris narrowly won the Electoral College by just over 300,000 votes total across six swing states.2 We want everyone to use their voice in this critical election this year, John.
