The Week in Review
Happy Friday!
I hope you had a wonderful week. I am grateful to serve you all in the 118th Congress. Read below to see what I’ve been working on this week.
Witnessing the Biden-Harris Crisis at the Southern Border
I traveled to Arizona’s southern border to see the reality of Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and Alejandro Mayorkas’s border crisis. Kamala Harris visited a sanitized border for a photo op. If she had traveled with me, she would have seen the devastating impacts of her failure as the Border Czar.
While surveying the border, I saw NGO-funded tents with supplies to aid and abet the criminals crossing our southern border. The tents included instructions to aliens not to walk along the border any further, but to wait for Border Patrol, and disclosed Border Patrol’s regular pick-up times. I also spoke with a 17-year-old child exploited by the Cartel to smuggle humans across international borders. He was there with a group waiting for Border Patrol to arrive before crossing.

Protecting American Elections
Senator Hagerty (R-TN) and I led a letter to U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland demanding accountability for his agency’s failure to respond to a congressional inquiry into the integrity of American elections. Earlier this year, we inquired about the measures that have been taken by the Department of Justice (DOJ) to safeguard American elections from being hijacked by illegal aliens. The initial inquiry, dated July 12, received no response from Garland’s DOJ. The DOJ’s failure to respond to congressional inquiry is unacceptable.
Reports regarding alarming events in South Carolina, Georgia, and Ohio raise justified concerns as to the integrity of our federal elections. There is no publicly available information to suggest that the Department of Justice is investigating or bringing cases against aliens who violate federal election law.
Our letter requires AG Garland to provide information regarding the steps, if any, taken by the DOJ to prosecute non-citizens for illegally voting or registering to vote in federal elections. The letter also inquires into whether the DOJ has contacted election officials in Virginia and Texas to obtain information on each of the aliens removed from voter rolls who were unlawfully registering and voting in elections.
American citizens must have confidence in the security of our elections. The DOJ’s failure to provide timely answers to our important questions is not acceptable.
At least 10 million illegal aliens have been released into our country through our porous borders during Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’s Administration. Americans should not have to be concerned that their voices will be drowned out by the voices of illegal aliens when electing officials for public office.
I’m grateful to Senator Hagerty for leading this effort in the Senate and to my colleagues who understand the significance of this oversight.

Team Biggs Attends Aviation Update from the Chandler Chamber
Aviation is a major economic driver in Arizona, generating billions in annual revenue and providing jobs to hundreds of thousands of Arizonans. My district is lucky to have a robust mix of airports, repair stations, schools, and tradesmen supporting the Arizona aviation industry. Thank you to Terri Kimble and the Chandler Chamber team for hosting a great economic update this week!

Why I Voted Against the Latest SAVE Act: Op-Ed
Last month, I voted against Mike Johnson’s CR+SAVE Act flimflam. The ploy would have continued funding the Biden-Harris regime’s programs facilitating mass illegal immigration while claiming to safeguard American elections–though passing the SAVE Act at the end of September, less than 50 days before the election, would have had no impact on election security in the 2024 election.
More about the Uniparty’s failed plan can be found in my op-ed published in the Washington Times.
Kamala Refused To Face Her Failure at the Border: Op-Ed
While Kamala Harris was on a disingenuous photo-op tour of the southern border, surrounded by dozens of bodyguards, wandering in a stretch of desert that had been sanitized for her visit, and oh-so-near the border wall constructed under President Donald Trump, I went to the border of Arizona and Mexico.

Alien Invasion Border Documentary
Check out my border documentary titled Alien Invasion. The 30-minute documentary features footage from private ranches along the border, the Darien Gap in Panama, and interviews with members of Congress, Border Patrol, local and state law enforcement, and much more. It addresses how President Biden’s border crisis began, its consequences, and solutions to address the crisis.
