Email from Jerry Evans for Congress WE DID IT! Friend, I just wanted to personally thank everyone who chipped in and helped us close out the quarter strong earlier this week. Because of your help, we will better be able to get the message out about my opponent’s record. My opponent, Bill Foster, has spent nearly 15 years in the U.S. Congress. Personally, I believe that is too long. To make matters worse, he is now talking about raising taxes and has claimed that the porous southern border has been “solved”, which we all know is not the case. It needs to be said that Bill Foster, along with many others in Congress on both sides, have continuously overspent for decades, causing rampant inflation and a skyrocketing debt that we must get under control. I pledge to you now that in Congress, I will vote to close the southern border, begin to pay off the National Debt, lower the prices of goods and make the American Dream of owning a home accessible to everyone. As you all know, I am a small business owner and educator and I have no intention of serving in Congress for a decade or more. I want to serve my community and return home to raise my children and run my business. That’s the way the founders intended.
