John, when I watched the Vice Presidential debate this week I was floored by JD Vance’s comments on gun violence. He refuses to discuss real and pragmatic solutions to gun violence - instead suggesting we design our schools like forts.  

Here’s an idea: why don’t we make it harder for dangerous people to acquire guns?

This is the obvious answer that’s been staring us in the face for decades. It’s been proven to work in other countries.

But because JD Vance and other Republicans are in the pockets of the NRA, they block any and all attempts to pass common-sense gun safety legislation.

John, I’m sick and tired of turning on the news and hearing about yet another mass shooting in America.
