With just a few weeks until ballots start going out, our race to flip OR-05 is heating up. That’s why I’m reaching out to ask for your $5 contribution today. But I also know you’re getting a lot of requests as we get closer and closer to Election Day, so let me explain why Janelle’s race is so important:

➡️ Every political expert is calling this election a toss-up, and Lori Chavez-DeRemer is considered one of the most vulnerable incumbents this year. Long story short: One of our best shots at taking back the House is right here in OR-05. 

➡️ The latest polls have Janelle up by two points against her MAGA Republican opponent Lori Chavez-DeRemer. We have a real shot at flipping this seat and the momentum is on our side.

➡️ We’ve seen a big surge in grassroots enthusiasm over the last several weeks – from Oregon to around the country – by folks who are excited to elect Janelle and flip the House majority. 

This is all great news and shows that we couldn’t be more grateful for the support of this grassroots team. But unfortunately, we have some bad news too: We’re seeing a huge influx of millions of dollars in outside spending from Republicans trying to defeat Janelle and hang onto this seat.
